![]() The course will be run in reverse this year due to unavoidable logistical issues with ongoing construction in and around the Cafe. After a short half mile climb up to the saddle, you will enjoy 4.5 miles of gentle downhill running the the finish at Spooner Lake located within the State Park. Once at the dam, you will continue to follow a dirt road along the west side of Marlette Lake for 1 mile before turning right onto Marlette Lake trail(single track). You will then continue along the 4.5 mile flat section of the world famous Flume Trail to Marlette Dam and the second aid station. Runners will proceed 3 miles, 1500' elevation gain, up Tunnel Creek Road to the Flume Trail and the first of two aid stations. The start will be located behind Tunnel Creek Cafe adjacent to Flume Trail Bikes in Incline Village, NV. This means there be be significant more climbing but with the same great views. Must be purchased before 9/21/19 The courseįor 2019, the course route will remain the same but it will be run in reverse direction. We will be back in 2021 with some changes that will enhance this runs overall trail experience. ![]() Unfortunately we will not be able to conduct TFTFC this year due to COVID related restrictions. All drop bags should be clearly marked with the runners name and bib#. Please keep these to a reasonable size and weight. There will be a drop bag location in the morning for those wishing to have clothing and other items transported to the finish line at Spooner State Park. There is absolutely no parking allowed at the cafe or bike shop. Payments can be made directly to Flume Trail Bikes and not through Ascent Runs or race management. So runners will also be able to park at the start and get a ride back to their vehicle via Flume Trail Bikes shuttle van service for $15. 28 in Incline Village adjacent to Tunnel Creek Cafe are now open and they are currently not charging a parking fee. Entry fee into the park will be free if you purchased a morning shuttle bus pass. Race parking is located at Spooner State Park. Please give yourself and event staff plenty of time to get everyone their packets and bibs. ![]() ![]() There will be no Race Day registration available this year at the start. Race day check in will be at the start of the race behind Tunnel Creek Cafe from 7-8:15AM. Runner check in and bib assignment is available on race day only. Please contact the RD if you are interested in purchasing that seat. UPDATE 9/21/19: The morning shuttle from Spooner State Park to the starting area has only 1 seat remaining. The busses will leave Spooner State Park at 7:15 and arrive at the starting line at approximately 7:45am. The morning shuttle buses for Flume Half Marathon runners is scheduled to arrive at 7:00am on Saturday Oct. Their shuttles back to the starting area parking will be 1:00, 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00 if needed. They have scheduled shuttle van drop offs at Spooner State Park for mountain bikers and they will be able to return back to their shop for a $15, same price as the morning buses. Flume Trail Bikes has offered their shuttle van services to return runners from the finish at Spooner State Park back to Tunnel Creek Cafe for $15. Passes sold after that date will depend on availability and on a first come first serve basis. Room on the morning shuttle buses will not be guaranteed after that date. Last day to purchase a shuttle pass is September 20th. This will be the only shuttle that the event provides. The cost of the morning shuttle bus is $15.
